As a Scrum Master, you will be engaged in a highly multifaceted group that responds to business and customer needs. This exciting contract opportunity is for a mid to senior level professional with a Scrum Master certification and direct experience with Agile development methodologies.
You will:
- Work closely with business and technology partners to develop solutions and overall strategies that address complex business needs and opportunities
- Accountable for the successful delivery of new product features and functions, including design, development, quality assurance and production release
- Foster and drive development standard methodologies which will improve quality and efficiency within your team and the organization
- A flexible and adaptable personality that allows you to deal with changing priorities and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to communicate to diverse audiences and levels across and organization, both verbally and in writing; negotiate and partner with other individuals, teams and organizations on behalf of the team
- Support Scrum and general software development standard methodologies
- Ability to successfully deliver large-scale product initiatives by empowering and supporting your team and by helping to identify and remove impediments
- 6+ years experience in software development, 2 years working on sophisticated IT projects
- Experience working within a multi-team framework, experience using JIRA or AgileCraft
- Bachelor's degree in MIS/Computer Science or related field
- Proven background as a developer or systems analyst required
