CareerGig: SaaS-based marketplace matches verified 1099 contractors with companies, and offers health, retirement, and other benefits for freelance talent.

ARLINGTON, VA – February 1, 2021

CareerGig has been selected to participate in the virtual Invent Penn State Venture & IP Conference (IPSVIP) on April 15 & 16, 2021. At the center of the IP Conference is Venture Connection, an event that will feature investors hosting virtual breakout rooms to meet with start-ups that have been matched with them based on capital needs, industry, and other key criteria. Sessions will be broken into segments giving each investor the chance to meet with up to a dozen capital-seeking, well-screened entrepreneurs.

The mission of the IPSVP Conference is to showcase the best and brightest entrepreneurial ventures and highlight them to companies and individuals seeking to invest. Over one thousand meetings are anticipated to  take place over two days. The Conference’s unique pairing algorithm means that Venture Connection meetings have a greatly increased chance of resulting in investment capital for startups and new opportunities for investors.
